Summary

GGD Zeeland conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 1 April 2025 at childminder Nieuwenhuyzen in Borssele. The childminder provides care for a maximum of 6 children aged 4 to 12 years through childminder agency Boelie. Almost all assessed quality requirements were found to be satisfactory at the time of inspection, including registration, pedagogical climate, requirements for the childminder, accommodation and the domestic violence reporting protocol. One violation was identified in the area of safety and health: the risk assessment did not match the actual situation in the garden, where hazardous materials, a lawnmower and ropes hanging from a tree were within reach of children. A description of a hazardous area belonging to other household members was also missing. Following a recovery offer, the childminder resolved these shortcomings on 3 April 2025. The advice to the municipality of Borsele is: no enforcement action.
