The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Drenthe conducted an unannounced post-registration inspection on 22 October 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Peuterschuur in Roden. The location provides places for 10 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years and is part of KDV de Speelkamer. All assessed quality requirements have been met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. The pedagogical practice shows a warm and stimulating climate in which staff observe children closely, stimulate their language and independence, and guide their social skills. The group room is arranged thematically and the offering is well tailored to the toddler age. One minor point concerned a trainee who had not been registered in time in the Childcare Personnel Register; this has since been resolved. No violations were identified and no areas for improvement.
