Dak Lamgroen

Welcome to childcare centre Dak Lamgroen, located in a beautiful historic building in the heart of The Hague, close to Den Haag Centraal station. Our warm, homely environment offers a cosy and familiar setting where children aged 0 to 4 can explore and play to their heart's content. The playrooms are spacious, light and calmly furnished. The youngest children play on the ground floor; the older children are on the higher floors - a logical setup that works well for everyone. Indoors, themed play corners invite children to discover, build, play and learn. Every day is filled with fun activities: movement and dance sessions, creative workshops, and of plenty of outdoor play in our spacious green outdoor area. We celebrate festivals from many different cultures, helping children learn about the world around them in a playful way. For toddlers aged 2.5 to 4, we offer Pre-school Education (VE) with extra focus on language development, social skills and a rich play-based curriculum to prepare children for a good start at primary school. Our experienced pedagogical staff have been working at Dak for many years and truly know the children - creating a secure foundation for each child. Dak Lamgroen is part of Stichting DAK kindercentra. The location is easily accessible by public transport, near Den Haag Centraal station.
