Summary

Vespercare - Zuidoost is an after-school care plus (BSO+) location in Amsterdam Zuidoost for children with additional support needs, opened since December 2023. The inspection of 4 December 2025 identified 4 violations: three regarding the pedagogical policy (incorrect description of base groups/schedule, no description of staff distribution, no description of staffing schedule) and one regarding the indoor space (not appropriately arranged for children with autism). All violations have been remediated through recovery offers. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: staff provide emotional security, and promote independence and social skills. The team consists of 4 new staff members since January 2024. Safety policy and parent information meet the requirements.
