About this care
BSO In je Knollentuin is located at Kloosterstraat 30 in Helvoirt and is part of Kindertuin, an organisation that has been providing childcare, toddler care and after-school care for over 22 years. Our BSO offers 60 places for children aged 4 to 12 and is housed in the same building as KDV In je Knollentuin.
We pick children up from school and give them a safe place to relax, play and learn. The afternoon always starts with a shared snack and drink, so children can talk about their school day. Afterwards they are free to choose: join an organised activity, play alone or together with friends.
We involve children as much as possible in thinking up and carrying out activities. Think of building huts, sports and games, creative workshops or a trip to the playground. We actively encourage outdoor play; there is plenty of space to move around and discover nature.
Our pedagogical team consists of experienced staff who give warm attention to every child. We work with a real-time parent app so parents can stay informed about their child's experiences. BSO In je Knollentuin is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hart voor Brabant conducted an annual inspection on 23 June 2026 at after-school care (BSO) In je Knollentuin in Helvoirt, commissioned by the municipality of Vught. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates a maximum of 60 children aged 4 to 13 years, divided into two base groups. The inspection assessed the pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and parental rights. On all aspects, the provider meets the statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical practice demonstrates sensitive and responsive care, in which children are encouraged in their independence and social development. Staff hold the correct qualifications and certificates of conduct (VOG), and the staff-to-child ratio is in order. The parent committee is established according to legal requirements, although they did not respond to the GGD questionnaire. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The advice to the municipal executive is: no enforcement.
