About this care
Welcome to Partou BSO Waterloolaan 1A, our sports-focused after-school care in Driehuis! Located within the hockey club at Waterloolaan 1A, movement and sports are at the heart of everything we offer. With 38 places available, we provide a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 4 to 12.
Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since October 1, 2012, under number 607152618 and is supervised by the GGD Kennemerland. As part of Partou, one of the largest childcare organizations in the Netherlands, we follow their proven pedagogical vision where fun, development and safety are central.
We believe children thrive when they can express themselves physically. That's why our sports BSO offers daily activities where children get to move and play. From hockey and other ball sports to creative movement activities - we utilize the hockey club facilities to let children discover different sports in a playful way.
Through our own Partou app, we keep parents informed about their child's experiences. We share photos and messages so you can follow along with your child's day. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children in their development, making friends and discovering new talents.

Summary
Partou BSO Waterloolaan 1A in Driehuis is an after-school care (BSO) for children aged 7 to 13, located in the clubhouse of hockey club K.H.C. Strawberries. During the annual unannounced inspection on 19 March 2026, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Kennemerland found that the location meets all assessed quality requirements. The pedagogical practice is positive: staff connect well with the world of 8+ year olds, there is a relaxed atmosphere, and children are challenged with varied activities. All staff members have appropriate qualifications and meet language requirements. There is no parent committee, but due to the low number of childcare places, the provider is permitted to use alternative parent consultation; parents are sufficiently involved through newsletters and questionnaires. During the previous inspection in November 2025, there was a violation regarding pedagogical policy, but this has since been resolved through a recovery offer. The GGD advises the municipality of Velsen not to take enforcement measures.
