Summary

On 21 August 2026, GGD Brabant-Zuidoost (Municipal Health Service Brabant-Zuidoost) conducted a registration inspection at Korein Gounodlaan, a new after-school care (BSO) location in Eindhoven. The location is a relocation from Korein Schelluinen to a temporary accommodation at Gounodlaan 23B, which also houses a toddler group and a new vertical group for ages 0-4. The BSO provides care for up to 40 children aged 4-13 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and during school holidays. All assessed conditions regarding registration, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights meet statutory requirements. The indoor and outdoor spaces meet surface area standards, although the interior was not yet fully completed at the time of inspection. The safety and health policy is in place, but reactive measures have not yet been described in sufficient detail for all risks. This will be further assessed during the post-registration inspection. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made.
