Het Speelkwartier

Welcome to BSO Het Speelkwartier, our after-school care centre located at Pastoor Bluemersplein 5 in Silvolde. We are part of Humankind Childcare and provide after-school care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12. Our team is ready for the children every weekday from 07:30 to 18:30. We work closely with De Plakkenberg primary school, allowing children to join us safely and familiarly after school hours. Our facility features an on-site gym where we organise daily sports and games, as well as a spacious outdoor playground with equipment for climbing, running and exploring. Children are encouraged to make their own choices. They can take part in creative craft workshops, build with our extensive play materials or simply enjoy outdoor play. A warm meal and healthy snacks are provided so everyone has the energy for the afternoon. We regularly organise excursions such as nature walks and sports clinics. Our qualified pedagogical staff guide the children with care and respect, fostering independence, cooperation and the joy of learning. Together we create a safe place where children feel at home after a long school day.
