Summary
BSO Hiraa is a new after-school care (BSO) in Rotterdam for 22 children aged 4 to 13, located in an annex of primary school Hiraa. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Rotterdam-Rijnmond inspection report shows a predominantly positive picture. All assessed quality requirements are in order, including registration, pedagogical policy, safety policy, domestic violence reporting protocol, accommodation and parental rights. There is one point of attention: the pedagogical work plan has been renewed organisation-wide and is still under development. Some topics are not yet described concretely enough, such as deviations from staff-child ratios, settlement policy and tasks of support staff. The owner has committed to supplementing this by September 2026. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made.
