Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted a pre-application inspection on 15 July 2026 for BSO de Boe, a new after-school care (BSO) in Amsterdam for 60 children (ages 4–13). The location will be the 5th after-school care (BSO) of Kinderopvang aan de Amstel and is housed in primary school Oostelijke Eilanden. The pedagogical policy and safety policy submitted in advance did not meet all requirements. The holder was given the opportunity to revise these, after which the amended versions were approved. Practice was not assessed as the location had not yet opened. All staff members hold the correct diplomas and Certificate of Conduct (VOG) statements. Two childcare professionals must still complete a first aid (EHBO) course before the start of operations. The GGD concludes that the location can reasonably be expected to meet the quality requirements.
