Summary
BLOS Prinses Irenestraat is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Amsterdam-Zuid with 26 places for children aged 0–4. The inspection on 23 January 2025 shows that the location meets all statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical practice appears warm and responsive: during circle time and music activities, the staff stimulate social, cognitive and motor development and provide emotional security, for example by calmly guiding a shy child. The team is sufficiently staffed, all employees hold the correct diplomas and Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag), and a first-aid-trained adult is always present. Backup staffing and the domestic violence reporting protocol are well arranged. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The organisation was not required to take any recovery action. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to take note of the report for information purposes only.
