About this care
Welcome to Arnhem Noord, our daycare center located at Spiekmanlaan 16 in Arnhem. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our location is spacious with different living and play areas tailored to your child's developmental stage. The groups are horizontally structured, allowing children to play with peers and ensuring activities perfectly match their world of experience.
At Arnhem Noord, we follow VVE programs (Pre- and Early School Education) to stimulate your child's development. We offer structured activities such as music, arts and crafts, reading and outdoor play. Our pedagogical staff are trained to monitor each child's development and respond accordingly. We work with a fixed mentor for each child, creating a familiar foundation for both child and parent.
Our outdoor space is a safe, green playground where children can romp, discover and play with natural materials. We regularly go on excursions to the playground or nearby park. Additionally, we offer opportunities for cooking and baking with the children, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements.
We believe it's important for parents to be involved in their child's care. Through our app, we keep you informed about daily activities, sleep times and meal times. We offer flexible care days and also provide half-day care options.Read more

Summary
Peuteropvang Arnhem Noord (part of Christoforus Kinderopvang) provides early childhood education for up to 13 children aged 2-4 years. The inspection on 3 June 2025 presents a mixed picture: the pedagogical climate, pedagogical practice and early childhood education are well in order, but three violations were identified. The organisation has allocated insufficient hours for the early childhood education policy staff member, annual coaching of staff members was not secured, and between 14 April and 13 June 2025 no adult with a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate was present. The organisation has submitted a recovery plan: from August 2025 a fixed early childhood education policy staff member will be appointed, the coaching plan will be adjusted and all first aid certificates will be actively monitored. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Arnhem to enforce.
