At Gastouderbureau 4 Happy Kids, we ensure that the childcare perfectly matches your wishes and your child(ren)'s needs. As soon as you register with us, we'll create a search profile together. In this, we record your preferences such as childcare days, times, location and any specific wishes.
With this profile, we get straight to work. We first search our existing database for a childminder (gastouder) who suits your family. If no suitable childminder is available, we'll put your request out externally to reach childminders outside our database too. Our aim is to find safe, trusted and personal childcare that fits your family perfectly.
Subsidy & costs
As a client of Gastouderbureau 4 Happy Kids, you are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). Both our childminder childcare (gastouderopvang) and nanny services are recognised for benefit. We ensure correct registration in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang), which is a requirement for applying for benefit from the Tax Authority (Belastingdienst).
The costs consist of a one-time registration fee of €40 after successful matching, and monthly agency fees of €56.50 per family for one childminder (gastouder) or nanny (tariff 2026). For an additional childminder, €28.25 per month applies. The hourly rate for childminder childcare (gastouderopvang) is €8.50-€9.00 for daycare and €8.50-€10.00 for before/after-school care (VSO/BSO). For an in-home nanny, we advise €22.50-€30.00 per hour per family. For emergency childcare, a surcharge of €22.50 per month applies.
Trust & screening
We carry out extensive screening of all childminders (gastouders), including periodic suitability assessments. This includes visits to the childcare location to check (fire) safety and health, verification of Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG-verklaringen) for childminders and household members, and pedagogical observations. In addition, we offer continuous guidance and courses to improve and guarantee childminders' knowledge levels.
Gastouderbureau 4 Happy Kids is registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang) under number 123729920 and with the Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number 75955040. We comply with all legal requirements of the Childcare Act 2026 (Wet Kinderopvang) and work with an extensive safety and health policy. All childminders (gastouders) are thoroughly screened and hold a valid first aid (EHBO) certificate.
