Villa Bombarie works closely with child center De Kleine Akkers, allowing us to offer a seamless transition between school and after-school care. During school weeks we provide care after school hours and during holidays we are open all day. Our goal is to offer children a second home where they can be themselves and where there is room for both rest and activity. Summary
BSO Villa Bombarie in Goirle (Stichting Humankind) received its annual Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection on 17 March 2025. The pedagogical climate and staffing levels immediately met all legal requirements: there is a clear pedagogical policy, sufficient qualified staff, a fixed mentor for each child, and quiet retreat spaces. Initially, the location failed to meet parent participation requirements: it had not recruited enough parents for a parent committee and did not structurally involve parents in policy changes. Following the recovery offer, the organisation put up a recruitment poster, invited all parents to participate via the parent portal, and now schedules an annual parent meeting plus newsletters to advise on fees, opening hours, nutrition, safety, and complaints procedures. These measures were demonstrably implemented within the set timeframe, so that all quality requirements are now met. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
