Stichting Samimi

At Parent-Child Centre Samimi, we offer a warm and safe environment for children aged 1 to 4 years. Our childcare is inspired by the philosophies of Emmi Pikler and Rudolf Steiner, with an emphasis on natural learning and experiential play. We have several groups, including the Water Group for children aged 1-4, and smaller groups such as the Air Group (1-2 years), Fire Group (2-3 years) and Earth Group (3-4 years), with a maximum of 12 children per group. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 to 12:30 and from 12:30 to 17:00. The Water Group is also open on these days from 8:00 to 17:00. We are closed on Wednesday and during certain school holidays, such as the May holiday and summer holiday. We offer flexible childcare, where parents have the option to bring their children for half days. At Samimi, community is at the heart of everything we do. We primarily focus on children of parents participating in integration or re-integration programmes, but places are also available for entrepreneurs or parents who contribute to the community. We encourage parents to be involved and to observe their children as they settle into our childcare. Safety, trust and natural development through play and outdoor activities are our core values.
