Paddestoel

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Paddestoel is located in the woods, on the edge of the Meer en Bos estate in the Bohemen neighbourhood in The Hague-Loosduinen. We have a large outdoor space with a forest play area, sandpit, water pump, outdoor kitchen and natural climbing and scrambling opportunities. In addition, there is a separate baby garden and a small garden for outdoor activities. Our slogan 'Colouring the world together' represents our focus on the total development of your child. We offer a safe, warm environment where children are professionally cared for and experience fun, challenging things. We are a green childcare facility; children play outside extensively every day, even in less pleasant weather. We experience the seasons through sowing, harvesting, tasting and smelling. KDV Paddestoel has four core groups: baby group Squirrels (0-1 years), Beavers (0-4 years), Hedgehogs (0-4 years) and Foxes (1-4 years). The baby group is suitable for children from 10 weeks old. We work according to the child-following method KIJK! and offer development-oriented activities that align with our pedagogy.
