About this care
Olles Huis CV is an anthroposophic daycare center located at Mozartlaan 191 in The Hague. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in two groups: the Kabouterrijk and the Elfenrijk. Our daycare is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 579239123. Our pedagogical approach is based on Rudolf Steiner's anthroposophic vision, where we give children the space to develop at their own pace in a warm, homely environment. Olles Huis CV (daycare center/kinderdagverblijf/KDV) at Kokosnootstraat 84 in 's-Gravenhage was inspected on 3 April 2025. The location provides daycare for up to 40 children aged 0-4 years in three fixed core groups. The pedagogical climate, staffing ratio, safety, health, and accommodation more than meet the legal requirements. There is a homely, safe environment with sufficient space indoors (minimum 3.5 m² per child) and outdoors (552 m²). All children have a fixed mentor and parents are well informed. There were two violations: one partner did not have the correct Certificate of Good Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag/VOG) and the number of hours for the pedagogical policy worker had not been determined in accordance with the calculation rules. Following a recovery offer, the hour calculation has been correctly submitted, but the VOG issue has not yet been fully resolved. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality to enforce.
