Welcome to Kinderopvang Zien location De Held in Groningen. In our beautiful farmhouse located in the De Held neighbourhood, we offer childcare where children from 0 to 4 years can play and discover. On the ground floor you will find four groups divided across two age categories: two baby groups (0-2 years) and two toddler groups (2-4 years). Our location has four different outdoor play areas, including a nature garden with a willow hut and rabbit run. We work with fixed teams in each group, so children are cared for by staff members they know well. Practical info
Settling in
Zien has a careful settling-in period of 3 days before the start date. Settling-in day 1: you stay with your child in the group for 2-3 hours. Settling-in day 2: you bring your child to Zien, stay for another half hour, and then hand your child over to the carers. Settling-in day 3: a short day in the group on their own. This gradual approach helps children and parents become familiar with the carers and with saying goodbye.
