Kristalkind Kinderopvang B.V. (daycare center/kinderdagverblijf/KDV) at Neubourgstraat 13 in Breda was inspected on 22 August 2024 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) West-Brabant. The location has been approved: all previously identified shortcomings have been resolved and the childcare now meets all legal requirements. Key strengths include the warm pedagogical climate, in which children feel safe and at ease, and the good task distribution in the baby group. All childcare professionals are properly qualified, and the outdoor play area is set up in a safe and inviting manner. During a previous visit on 9 July, there were violations: an expired Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag/VOG) and unsafe situations in the play area. These have since been fully resolved. A recovery offer was made and all measures have been implemented. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
