Kinderdagverblijf 't Speeltreintje

At daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) and after-school care (BSO) 't Speeltreintje, we welcome children from 6 weeks to 12 years in a safe and stimulating environment. Our opening hours start at 6:15 AM, so parents can drop off their children early. We offer daycare for children from 6 weeks to 4 years and after-school care for children from 4 to 12 years. This includes care before and after school hours, on study days, and during school holidays. Our childcare staff are well-trained and come from diverse backgrounds. They provide small-scale care, which contributes to strong bonds between children and caregivers. This enables us to follow each child's development closely. We focus on social and personal development, the transmission of values and norms, and creating emotional security. The activities we offer are tailored to the children's developmental stages. Examples include reading aloud, singing, outdoor play, music activities, arts and crafts, role play, sports activities, painting and drawing, and even sowing and harvesting in our vegetable garden. We also offer a preschool education programme called Uk&Puk, which helps children prepare for primary school. Breakfast and nappies are included with us, so parents don't need to worry about these basic needs.
