The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 3 March 2026 concerns an unannounced investigation following registration of Kids-World, a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) with 29 childcare places in Veldhoven. The location is temporarily situated at Veldacker 1 (Zilverackers) due to renovation of the permanent location 't Heike, with an expected return before the summer holiday of 2026. The inspection showed that the childcare meets the Childcare Act in nearly all areas, including pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. However, two violations were identified in the area of accommodation: the outdoor space for children under 2 is not adjacent to the childcare center (it is located on the ground floor, while the childcare is on the first floor), and the outdoor space is not safely and appropriately arranged due to the presence of loose gravel that poses risks for young children. The provider acknowledges the violations and points out that the municipality is aware of the situation at this temporary location.
