Welcome to KDV de Vlinder, located at Hoogstraat 112 in the centre of Oisterwijk. We provide professional daycare for children aged 0 to 4. Our small-scale centre is designed with the very youngest in mind: every child is given the space to develop at his or her own pace. Under the guidance of experienced pedagogical staff we create a safe and familiar environment that feels like a second home. Summary
GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 28 July 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Vlinder in Oisterwijk. This private childcare facility for 44 children (ages 0–4) is housed in a former residential building with three group rooms, an atelier, and outdoor space. The inspection assessed the pedagogical climate and staff and groups. The location performs well in terms of pedagogical policy and practice: staff act warmly and responsively, guide children in social interactions, and provide positive attention. Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) verification and deployment of pedagogical policy staff are also in order. However, one violation was identified: not all present staff members met the language requirement under the Childcare Innovation and Quality Act (Wet IKK). The operator made use of the recovery offer and has since resolved this issue. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
