Child centre Het Mirakel is located at Warmoezenierpad 3 in Schiedam and is part of KomKids, a large childcare organisation with over 35 locations in Schiedam, Vlaardingen, Rotterdam and Maassluis. Our daycare centre provides care for up to 64 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our team of qualified pedagogical professionals is ready every day to offer the very youngest a safe, familiar and stimulating environment.

Summary
Het Mirakel is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Schiedam with 64 places for children aged 0 to 4 years, part of Kom kids Kinderopvang B.V. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Rotterdam-Rijnmond conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 16 April 2026. All assessed quality requirements were found to be in order: pedagogical policy and practice, staff qualifications, staff-to-child ratio, safety and health policy, and the duty to report, consult, and file official notifications. The pedagogical practice demonstrated sensitive, responsive care with attention to emotional safety and development. Staff were well informed of procedures. During the previous annual inspection (May 2025), there was a violation regarding the duty to report, consult, and file official notifications, for which a recovery offer was made. The provider accepted this and has since complied with this requirement. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
