This follow-up inspection at childminder Drenth-Landegent in Koudekerke, conducted on 19 August 2025, was a continuation of an earlier annual inspection in which violations had been identified. The childminder provides care for a maximum of 6 children aged 0 to 4 years through childminder agency Kindjes & Zo. At the earlier inspection on 17 June 2025, it emerged that the childminder was not present during childcare hours; an unregistered acquaintance took over care without an emergency backup plan. Following a formal direction from the municipality of Veere, the childminder revised the emergency backup plan: two additional backup carers were added, contact details were posted visibly, a mobile phone is now always present, and clear agreements regarding her own presence were established. At this follow-up inspection, it was determined that all improvements have been implemented and that the childminder now meets all inspected requirements in the domains of general conditions, pedagogical climate, and accommodation.
