Summary

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) of Koemans in Tricht, brokered by ViaViela Geldermalsen, on 26 March 2024. The care accommodates a maximum of 4 children aged 0 to 13 years. Although the general conclusion is that the childminder meets the legal requirements, three safety risks were identified that were listed in the risk assessment but not being followed in practice: alcohol bottles on the floor, a roller blind cord within reach of a child, and a key in the lock of the cellar door. These were discussed on site and partially resolved immediately. The childminder demonstrated a warm, nurturing environment with attention to emotional safety and social development.
