This was an unannounced annual inspection of this childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) for children aged 0-4 years, registered with childminder agency VanHarteLief. The childminder provides care on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in her own home. The conclusion is that the childminder provides responsible childcare. No violations were identified. However, a safety point was discussed on site: a baby was wrapped in a loose blanket. The childminder was asked to follow the sleep safety advice from kinderveiligheid.nl (make up the bed snugly or use a sleeping bag) and immediately complied by removing the blanket. The advice to the municipality is not to enforce.
