This inspection report concerns an unannounced annual inspection on 26 June 2024 at childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) Atabay in Utrecht, mediated by childminder agency Krokodilletje. The childminder cares for a maximum of six children in her own home, currently two children aged 4 and 7. The inspection assessed the pedagogical climate, staff qualifications, accommodation, and safety. All assessed quality requirements under the Childcare Act are being complied with. The pedagogical practice was rated positively: the childminder responds with sensitivity, playfully stimulates development, and provides emotional security. No violations were identified during this inspection. It is noted that in January 2024 a violation was identified regarding a household member who was registered too late in the Childcare Personnel Register; this has since been resolved and the childminder received a warning for this.
