About this childminding agency
Kindercentrum Domino offers childminder care (gastouderopvang) through its childminder agency (gastouderbureau), a flexible form of childcare that takes place in the childminder's (gastouder) home. The agency supports parents in finding a suitable childminder (gastouder) in the Groesbeek region and surrounding areas. All childminders (gastouders) are qualified, hold a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and first aid certificate (EHBO), and work according to the pedagogical policy of the childminder agency (gastouderbureau). As of 1 July 2026, Kindercentrum Domino will stop offering childminder care (gastouderopvang) due to changing legislation and to be able to focus on other forms of childcare.

Subsidy & costs
Childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) applies to childminder care (gastouderopvang) and can be applied for at the tax authorities within 3 months of the start of care. Parents receive the LRKP number of both the childminder agency (gastouderbureau) and the childminder (gastouder), which is required for the benefit application. Domino refers parents to www.toeslagen.nl for more information and offers a calculation tool on the website to make a trial calculation.
The costs for childminder care (gastouderopvang) consist of two components: agency fees to the childminder agency (gastouderbureau) and an hourly rate to the childminder (gastouder). Parents can choose between a flexible or fixed guidance rate for the agency fees, with a minimum purchase of 12 hours per month per child. The hourly rate to the childminder is set by the childminder themselves and indexed annually. The rates include meals (except formula and special diet food), excluding nappies, evening meals and travel costs. Current rates are published annually at the end of November on the website.
Trust & screening
Potential childminders (gastouders) at Domino are extensively screened. They must have the appropriate vocational training, hold a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and possess a First Aid for Childhood Accidents diploma from the Orange Cross. In addition, Domino assesses suitability with personality, medical aspects and other risks being weighed. After a health and safety risk assessment and a positive decision from the GGD, the childminder is included in the National Childcare Register.
The childminder agency (gastouderbureau) of Kindercentrum Domino is registered in the National Childcare Register (LRKP: 112627444) and falls under supervision of the Municipal Health Service (GGD). All childminders (gastouders) are screened for suitability, with personality, medical aspects and other risks being assessed. After a positive decision from the GGD, the childminder is included in the LRKP. The agency is affiliated with the childcare sector association and has a complaints procedure through the external Childcare Disputes Committee.

Summary
Childminder agency Domino Groesbeek, part of Stichting Kindercentrum Domino, was inspected on 14 July 2025 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Gelderland-Zuid. The agency has been facilitating childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) in the Berg en Dal region since 2004 and has three affiliated childminders. The annual inspection demonstrated that the agency meets all assessed quality requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified at the agency itself. However, during annual inspections at affiliated childminders, shortcomings were found in the risk assessment (smoke detectors in the wrong location and missing child safety covers in electrical sockets), which were resolved following a recovery offer. The agency informs parents via its website, email and telephone, and publishes inspection reports online. The guidance capacity of 230 hours per year is more than sufficient for the three childminders.
