About this care
Welcome to BSO ’t Sparrenbos, part of the Kindcentrum located at Eikakkerhoeven 83A in the green Sparrenburg district of Rosmalen. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a sheltered, wooded environment where children can grow and explore. Our motto is: “Everything is allowed, nothing is required.” Children actively help decide which activities they want to do—today a game, tomorrow learning to take beautiful photos, and the next day an exciting boxing workshop. Every day is different.
For older children (8+) we operate a separate BSO location at Maaslandhoeven 15, less than a minute’s walk away. Here they can join challenging workshops such as learning to control their own robot. Our extensive activity calendar includes sports, creative and technical projects, nature and forest activities, and regular excursions. We work closely with primary school ’t Sparrenbos; children are collected from the same building after school and can stay until 18:30. During school holidays we are open from 07:30 to 18:30.

Summary
Educatief Centrum 't Sparrenbos in Rosmalen provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 70 children aged 4–13 years in five fixed base groups. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 30 July 2025. All assessed areas – pedagogical climate, staff and groups, parental rights – comply with statutory quality requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. Staff are qualified, hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), and work in a permanent team. Children have a fixed mentor and parents receive complete information via website, app, and meetings. In 2024, there were no complaints about this location. The holder received no recovery offer as everything proceeded in accordance with the standards. The municipality was advised not to take enforcement action.
