At SKIK Kinderopvang, attention, growth and fun come first. As a pedagogical partner in upbringing, we offer a stimulating environment where children can develop through play and at their own pace. Our locations are conveniently situated in the municipality of De Fryske Marren, often close to primary schools, which makes the transition to school easier. Our daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) welcomes children from 0 to 4 years and offers a safe and familiar environment with dedicated childcare staff. Children learn to play together, share, explore boundaries and make friends. For babies, we respect the rhythm established at home. We offer preschool/toddler care and use a secure app, the SKIK Ouder App, to keep parents informed of their child's progress. Our after-school care (BSO) is there for children from 4 to 12 years and offers a wide range of activities, from sports and movement to creative workshops. Children have the freedom to spend their free time as they wish, while we provide support where needed. During holidays, we organise themed weeks for extra fun and development. The costs for our care are income-dependent and parents can estimate the net costs with our calculation tool. SKIK is bilingual and is supported by the Sintrum Frysktalige Berne-opfang (SFBO).
