The Municipal Health Service (GGD) IJsselland conducted an unannounced post-registration inspection on 10 November 2025 at after-school care (BSO) Oebele in Okkenbroek, part of organisation KOOS. The location provides after-school care (buitenschoolse opvang/BSO) for a maximum of 24 children aged 2 to 12 years, housed in primary school de Sint Jozefschool. All inspected domains comply with the Childcare Act: general conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. The pedagogical practice shows positive examples: children are challenged in their development, guided in social interactions, and learn norms and values. The staff-to-child ratio complies with the law, staff hold the correct qualifications and Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) statements, and the accommodation comfortably meets space requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The holder has up to six months after registration to establish a parent committee. The advice to the municipality of Deventer is: no enforcement action.
