IKC Het Kristal

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) at Christelijk IKC Het Kristal in Dordrecht. We are part of H3O and provide care for children aged 4 to 13, with safety and a warm atmosphere at the heart of everything we do. Our location at Heimerstein 35 is a place where children feel at home and can develop in a stimulating environment. We provide before-school care from 7:00 AM and after-school care until 6:00 PM. Our programme includes a variety of activities, such as participation in the Kristal Choir where children can sing along, and gymnastics to keep them active. We work with thematic programmes that align with children's interests. Our pedagogical approach is rooted in our Christian identity, with the core principle of 'Learning by thinking and doing'. This means we challenge children to think for themselves, experiment, and grow, always with attention to a healthy balance between activity and relaxation. For communication with parents, we use the Parro app, so you stay directly involved in the daily goings-on. For special occasions, such as the group 8 farewell, we organise evening meals and snacks to celebrate together. Our childcare staff provide professional guidance and ensure safety and health are monitored. At Christelijk IKC Het Kristal, your child is at the centre of a loving and structured setting. We invite you for a tour during our information mornings on Wednesdays, scheduled for 03-09-2025, 01-10-2025 and other dates. Come and experience how we contribute to your child's development and wellbeing.
