BSO IJsvogel is a trusted after-school care facility located at Kastanjelaan 2B in the heart of Sint Pancras. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13 who attend primary school Het Baken. Our goal is to create a place where children feel at home, have fun and can develop themselves. With a varied range of activities, both indoors and outdoors, we stimulate their creativity, social skills and self-confidence.
Our location is ideally situated in the charming village of Sint Pancras, offering an accessible and safe environment for both children and parents. Parents can rely on a professional and dedicated team that looks after each child's needs with care and attention. Whether it's relaxing after a school day or discovering new hobbies, there's something fun for every child at IJsvogel.
We have been registered in the National Childcare Register under number 219826298 since August 1, 2024, and offer places for up to 30 children. Summary
BSO IJsvogels at Kastanjelaan 2B in Sint Pancras will offer after-school care (BSO) for up to 30 children aged 4-13 from 1 August 2024. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) investigated on 9 July 2024 whether the new location complies with the Childcare Act. The assessment is positive: all statutory requirements have been demonstrated, there is sufficient indoor and outdoor space (137 m² indoor, 200 m² outdoor), all staff have a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and are registered in the persons register, and there are up-to-date policy plans for pedagogy, safety and health. The practical aspects (group structure, pedagogical practice, staff-child ratios) will only be assessed once the care is operational. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality is advised to include the location in the National Childcare Register (LRK).
