BSO De Ark in Wekerom is a new after-school care (BSO) operated by Spelenderwijs Ede, located within primary school School met de Bijbel. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 16 October 2025 shows that the location meets all quality requirements. The care facility accommodates up to 20 children aged 4 to 12 years, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In practice, there are currently only 4 children per day. The pedagogical practice scores well: staff know the children personally, provide individual attention, and create a warm, interactive atmosphere. There are also no shortcomings in the areas of staff, safety, accommodation, and parental rights. The indoor space (71.5m²) and outdoor space meet the requirements. There is no parent committee yet, but the holder has six months from registration to establish one. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
