Summary

BLOS Thorbeckelaan is an after-school care (BSO) in Utrecht with 72 places for children aged 7–13. The inspection took place on 25 March 2025, three months after registration in the LRK (National Childcare Register). The childcare center meets all quality requirements under the Childcare Act. There is a positive pedagogical climate in which children feel safe and experience a great deal of freedom. The staff is well trained and there is adequate supervision. However, there are lead pipes present in the building; children are not allowed to drink water from the tap. An action plan has been drawn up to manage this risk. No violations were identified. The municipality is advised not to initiate enforcement action.
