Bos BSO Doorn

Bos BSO Doorn is located in the middle of the forest at the scouting grounds on Drift 100 in Doorn. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 from nearly all primary schools in Doorn. Our location is the place for natural play and discoveries. The forest and large grass field offer almost unlimited outdoor play opportunities. Children can build huts, balance on tree trunks, and play live stratego. These activities not only stimulate physical development but also imagination, creativity, and risk assessment. For quiet moments, we have two cozy indoor spaces where children can retreat or engage in activities that work better inside. Our team consists of pedagogical staff with a heart for nature. They have experience with nature-oriented activities and use an exclusive SKDD Bos BSO book full of nature activities. This gives children plenty of choice and inspiration. We believe in stimulating development by offering children challenges that match their age and interests. During school holidays, we offer a challenging and fun activity program. We ensure that as many familiar staff members as possible are present and that children meet peers. The program consists of play & sports, creative activities, expression, and nature experiences. Children choose which activities to participate in, while always leaving room for their own initiatives and free play. Bos BSO Doorn is part of Stichting Kinderopvang SKDD, a regional non-profit organization that has been providing childcare for over 25 years in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug region. We work together with schools in Doorn and pick up children after school.
