About this care
Welcome to Speelleergroep Ot en Sien, our colourful toddler group in the heart of Vorden. We are located inside De Dorpsschool at Kerkstraat 17A, where we welcome children aged 2 to 4 four mornings a week. In a bright, purpose-designed space our team of professional staff guide the toddlers through play-based activities using the Startblokken method. Themes, crafts, games and movement follow a gentle, predictable rhythm. Children enjoy our own playground and the school’s gym room, giving them plenty of room to run, climb and explore every morning. Close cooperation with De Dorpsschool ensures a smooth transition to the reception class: your child becomes familiar with the school while we continue to support social-emotional, language and motor development. Our programme includes pre- and early-school education (VVE), laying a strong foundation for later learning. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:30 to 12:30. Feel free to drop by for an informal visit and see how, with warmth and expertise, we give every child a brilliant start.Read more

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the Speel-/leergroep Ot en Sien in Vorden on 7 July 2026 due to an impending change of holder effective 1 August 2026. The new holder, IJsselgraaf kinderopvang (formerly Kinderopvang Spelenderwijs), is taking over the location, which will continue as daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) de Dorpsschool. The investigation demonstrates that responsible childcare is sufficiently likely, with the exception of one shortcoming: on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, no staff member with an early childhood education (VE) certificate is present for the early childhood education provision. Two staff members are undertaking the required training, which will be completed in mid-October 2027. They may be deployed in a formative capacity subject to conditions. The accommodation is being restructured for daycare for children aged 0-4 years. The GGD advises the municipality of Bronckhorst to approve the change in the LRK.
