Welcome to Zuxx Childcare De Hartjes, located at Venediën 25 in the centre of Purmerend. We are a small-scale daycare centre for children aged 0 to 4, organised as one vertical group where babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers grow up together in a homely, familiar atmosphere. The location is housed in the same building as our midwifery practice – for many families the bond with Zuxx already starts here, even before birth. Everything we do revolves around calm, rhythm and personal attention. A steady team of pedagogical staff really gets to know every child. Indoors there is plenty of room for free play, singing, reading aloud, crafting and discovering in our bright, uncluttered space with natural materials. Our large green discovery garden invites children to climb, get muddy, run or simply lie in the grass. Even the youngest babies nap safely in outdoor cribs, wrapped in fresh air with birdsong in the background. We follow the child, not the other way around. If your toddler needs quiet today, he can snuggle up with a book. If she wants to move and explore, we create space for that together. Parents experience our care as an extension of home: short lines of communication, a chat at pick-up and drop-off, and through our parent portal we share photos and little stories of the day. Zuxx Childcare De Hartjes is a place where children can be themselves, parents feel heard and together we provide a warm foundation to grow on.
