Zonnepit

Daycare centre De Zonnepit is located on the playground of the Montessori primary school in Bilthoven, right in the middle of a wooded area. We offer small-scale childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our homely character ensures that children quickly feel at home and are given the space to grow and develop at their own pace. The natural play environment surrounding the location invites exploration and outdoor play. At De Zonnepit we work with vertical groups. Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are mixed together, allowing children of different ages to learn from and play with each other. This setup stimulates social development and a sense of togetherness. Our experienced childcare professionals provide each child with the personal attention they need, tailored to their developmental stage. The location is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. Parents can drop off and pick up their child during these generous opening hours, accommodating various work schedules and busy agendas. De Zonnepit is part of Humankind, a national organisation with over 40 years of experience in childcare and committed to the well-being of children and families. We believe it is important that children are given the space to explore, make choices and be themselves. Our location is a kind of practice ground, where children learn to live and work together through play. The wooded environment offers plenty of opportunities for natural stimuli and adventurous discovery trips.
