Welcome to BSO Zonnelicht, located at Gording 123 in the Kersenboogerd district of Hoorn. As part of the Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland foundation, we have been providing trusted after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 for over 40 years. Our location operates from anthroposophical principles aligned with the free school philosophy. We collect children daily from Montessori School Kersenboogerd and Westfriese Vrije School Parcival and safely guide them to our location. At BSO Zonnelicht, the development of creativity, movement and music takes center stage. Our pedagogical staff provide children with space to discover and play in a homely atmosphere. We spend much time outdoors in our green garden where children can romp, build and play together. Activities are tailored to the different ages and interests of the children, including crafts, singing, music-making and sports games. We believe it's important that children can develop freely in a safe and secure environment. Our location is open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, allowing us to flexibly respond to parents' childcare needs. Children are offered organic food and we pay great attention to healthy living habits. Our experienced staff are ready to give your child a pleasant afternoon after a school day. BSO Zonnelicht accommodates up to 44 children. We work with horizontal groups where children come together in age groups. This provides recognition and stimulates social development. Parents are warmly welcome for a tour to get acquainted with our approach and atmosphere.
