ZON! in de polder

Welcome to ZON! in the polder, our after-school care facility in the heart of Den Hoorn. As part of Kinderopvang ZON!, we have been providing a unique place where up to 55 children aged 4 to 12 feel completely at home since September 1, 2020. For us, everything revolves around outdoor play and nature experiences. We believe that children thrive best when they can romp around outside, get dirty in the mud, and even dance in the rain. Our location in the polder provides the perfect environment for adventurous discovery trips and creative outbursts. Every day is a celebration at ZON! in the polder. Our children choose from an extensive range of activities themselves. From discovering different sports to cooking with fresh ingredients, from gardening with their own hands to cuddling with our animals. Creativity is highly valued - children can express themselves through crafts, painting, and building. We see each child as a unique individual with their own talents and interests. Child participation is the foundation of our vision: children are truly seen and heard. Everyone is allowed and able to be who they are or want to be. Together with the children, we create a program that matches their wishes and curiosity. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children in their development, challenge them, and help them discover who they are and what they can do. In our green environment, children not only learn to play but also to respect nature and everything around us. ZON! in the polder is more than just childcare - it's a place where children grow, make friends, and create unforgettable memories.
