Zo op 't Stavertje

Welcome to Zo op ’t Stavertje, our small-scale childcare centre located at Schoolstraat 3 in the heart of Stavenisse. We care for children aged 2 to 4 in one cosy, home-like vertical group with a maximum of 8 children and two permanent pedagogical staff members. Each week the group composition stays the same, so your child always sees familiar faces and quickly feels safe and secure. At our centre everything revolves around learning through play. We spend lots of time outside in our own green playground, sing together, read books and enjoy creative activities such as crafting and games. Language is stimulated by reading aloud together and chatting about our experiences. In this playful way children expand their world of experience and vocabulary. We offer the Early Childhood Education programme Pyramide, which supports language development in a fun, age-appropriate manner. Our core values – Sustainable, Growth, Fun and Connection – are at the heart of everything we do. We pay attention to nature and teach children from an early age how they can contribute to a better world. The centre is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 07:00 to 18:00. For toddler care we use a separate timetable: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:15 to 14:15. We operate 40 school weeks per year and are open during 6 holiday weeks; during the remaining holiday weeks you can use our sister location Zo op Brede School Tholen.
