Zo Outdoor BSO bij de Jaguars

At the adventurous grounds of Scouting group De Jaguars, Zo Outdoor BSO bij de Jaguars provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 years. Located in the woods yet close to the center of Rijswijk at Julialaantje 18, this unique location offers children the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in nature after school. At our Outdoor After-School Care, children experience the greatest adventures in nature. We spend a lot of time outdoors, which we believe is important for children's physical and mental health. In all activities, we stimulate the natural curiosity that children possess. They engage in play, technology, and music in the middle of nature, always under professional guidance. Together we explore our surroundings using natural and sustainable materials. Our activities are completely focused on being outdoors and experiencing nature. Nature offers endless possibilities to play, do sports, learn and develop the senses. We build huts, make campfires, search for animal tracks, learn about plants and trees, and go on discovery trips in the fresh outdoor air. Taking a break inside to warm up or play a game is of course also possible in our indoor space. We collaborate with multiple schools in the area and pick up children with our after-school care buses. During the forty regular school weeks, the after-school care is open from school dismissal time until 6:30 PM. During holiday weeks, we offer full-day after-school care starting from 7:30 AM. We are also open on school study days. With a maximum capacity of 37 children, we work in small groups where personal attention is central. Our pedagogical staff are true outdoor enthusiasts who love to share their passion for nature with the children.
