Zo bso aan de Riouwstraat

Welcome to Zo bso aan de Riouwstraat, our small-scale after-school care located in a beautiful monumental building at the corner of Riouwstraat and Koninginnegracht, right in the Archipel neighbourhood of The Hague. We provide care for 21 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO is situated on the atmospheric attic floor, where we work in a homely setting to support each child’s development. Discovery is at the heart of what we do. We challenge children to explore their talents through creative and technical activities—think experiments, hands-on science, taking things apart and putting them back together, as well as painting, drawing, and crafting. Thanks to our small scale, we can give every child personal attention and keep a close eye on their individual needs. We believe children thrive when they feel safe and at home. That’s why we work with familiar faces every day and provide a clear structure. Five days a week we serve a healthy, warm meal, so parents know their child is well looked after. Through our parent app we keep parents updated on the day, ensuring they never miss a moment of their child’s development. Our location is part of Zo Kinderopvang, an organisation that values growth, connection, sustainability and fun. We are convinced that children flourish in an environment where enjoyment, challenge and personal attention come together.
