Welcome to Zo aan de Van der Wyckstraat, our daycare center in the heart of The Hague. We provide childcare for 71 children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely environment where every child feels safe and valued. Our spacious building at Van der Wyckstraat 12 features six horizontal core groups, each designed to meet the specific needs of babies, toddlers and preschoolers. The Ballonnen and Rammelaars welcome the youngest ones, while the Dansers, Springers, Vliegers and Stunters offer an engaging learning environment for older children. At Zo aan de Van der Wyckstraat, we believe in the power of learning through play. Every two weeks, our yoga instructor visits to introduce gentle movement exercises to the baby and toddler groups. For preschoolers, a dedicated reading grandmother regularly visits to share enchanting stories that actively involve the children. These activities are part of our comprehensive program that addresses all areas of development. Our outdoor space is a true playground paradise. Besides our own garden, we border a large playground and regularly visit the petting zoo in Haagse Hout. For babies, we even have a private rooftop terrace where they can safely play in the fresh air. We go outside every day, as outdoor play is essential for healthy development. Child participation is highly valued at our center. We actively involve children in their own learning process by letting them make choices and taking their ideas seriously. This helps them become independent world citizens. Our dedicated teams of professional childcare workers provide continuity and security. They offer not just childcare, but create a second home where children can be themselves. Everything is included with us: diapers, wipes, formula feeding, healthy snacks and all activities.
