Welcome to Zo BSO at 2e Sweelinckstraat, part of Zo Kinderopvang in The Hague. In our monumental building in the Statenkwartier district, we provide after-school care for 49 children aged 4 to 12. We work with four horizontal age groups: 4-5 years, 6-7 years, 7-9 years and 10+, each with their own play area and age-appropriate activities. Our activity program is diverse and engaging. We offer sports and swimming lessons, cooking and creative workshops, music classes and gym sessions. We also organize regular excursions and spend plenty of time outdoors in our beautiful, enclosed garden full of natural play elements. Children actively participate in creating the activity schedule, ensuring every child feels seen and challenged. We align our activities with children's recent experiences, current events or themes connected to school. All our pedagogical staff hold valid Child First Aid certificates and provide a safe, familiar environment where children can develop and have fun after school. Parents can choose from various care contracts: with or without school holidays, or specifically for holidays and study days only. We collaborate with local primary schools to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care.
