Welcome to the daycare center of Zo aan de 2e Sweelinckstraat, a childcare location in a characteristic building in the heart of The Hague. The bright and spacious group areas offer plenty of opportunities for children aged 0 to 4 to play and develop. We work with horizontal groups, so children play with peers of the same age. Babies (0-2 years) and toddlers (1-2 years) have separate groups, as do the preschool groups (2-4 years). The pedagogical staff align activities and guidance with the children's developmental stage. We offer daily structure with fixed moments for play, sleep, meals, and outdoor play. Activities and development are central. At Zo aan de 2e Sweelinckstraat, we organize various activities such as music lessons, toddler gym, and interactive reading sessions. Our activities are always themed around fun and educational topics. For example, watching chicks hatch from eggs in spring or a visit from a real snake—there's always something exciting to experience! Outdoor play and excursions are an important part of our offering. We regularly go outside, not just for fresh air, but also to gain new experiences. Outdoors, there's so much more to discover: the space is larger, the air smells different, and everything feels different than inside. We love experimenting with materials like sand and water, and our outdoor area is adventurously designed with many natural elements to play with. In our beautiful backyard, we build sandcastles, bake mud pies, race bikes, and stimulate all the senses. Additionally, we make fun excursions so children can discover the world around them! Our team consists of a close-knit group that daily brings the magic of children's imagination to life. Together, we experience adventures where creativity and personal attention are central.
