Zo aan de 2e Sweelinckstraat

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Zo aan de 2e Sweelinckstraat, located in a characteristic building in the heart of the Statenkwartier district. Our BSO accommodates 49 children aged 4 to 12 and is part of Zo Kinderopvang, an organisation that has been providing childcare in The Hague for over 15 years. We work with four age groups: 4-5 years, 6-7 years, 7-9 years and 10+. Each group has its own play area tailored to the developmental stage of that age. Together with the children we create a new monthly activity programme, drawing inspiration from their own ideas, current events or themes linked to school. Activities include sports and swimming lessons, cooking and craft workshops, music lessons and gym classes. We also organise regular excursions and spend a lot of time outdoors: in our adventurous garden with natural play elements and beyond, to discover the world around us. Our team consists of dedicated childcare professionals, all holding a valid Child First Aid certificate. We value personal attention and safety, which is why we work with fixed staff per group and keep groups small. Our approach is tailored to each child’s developmental stage and offers room for individual initiative.
