Zo aan de Sijzenlaan

Welcome to Zo aan de Sijzenlaan, our daycare centre located in the Vogelwijk district of The Hague. We provide day care for up to 34 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into three horizontal age groups. This allows us to tailor care and stimulation to each child’s exact developmental stage. Everything we do is built on trust, warmth and fun. We sing, dance, read, cuddle, sleep, eat, play and explore together with the children. Our pedagogical staff take plenty of time for every child. During nappy changes, dressing or meals we make conscious eye contact and speak calmly, so each child feels seen and safe. We work from Zo Kinderopvang’s four core values: Sustainable, Growth, Fun and Connection. This means we teach children from an early age to treat nature with respect, we challenge them playfully to discover new skills and we have fun together every day. Our location has its own adjacent outdoor play area where the children go every day. The garden is regularly refurbished and offers plenty of space to run, climb and play with sand and water. Everything needed for a safe and comfortable day is provided: nappies, wipes, bottle feeding, hot meals, fruit and drinks. Parents receive photos and messages through our parent app, so you never have to miss a moment of your child’s development. In short, at Zo aan de Sijzenlaan your child will find a second home where he or she can grow with personal attention in a safe, green and challenging environment.
