Ziezo

BSO Ziezo is located on the grounds of the Annie M.G. Schmidt school at Laapersboog 9 in Hilversum. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 14 who attend special (primary) education. Our location works with one base group, keeping us small-scale so that every child receives the extra personal attention they deserve. After school, children can play freely, indoors or outdoors. We use the spacious schoolyard with football cage, climbing equipment and plenty of greenery. Afterwards, we eat fruit together and discuss the day using pictograms. Each afternoon we offer two activities that children can choose from: think of sports and games, crafts, playing a game or quietly reading on the couch. The activities are usually suitable for all ages, so older and younger children can play together. Our pedagogical staff pick up the children on foot from school. For parents, there is a parent portal where days can be exchanged or extra care requested, provided the group and staffing allow it. During holidays we are open from 07:30 to 18:30 and organize a varied program with outings and themed days. We believe it is important that children feel safe and at home. Because of the small group, we get to know each child and the parents well, so that we can tailor the guidance to what the child needs. Together we create a nice place where fun, relaxation and development go hand in hand.
